What is a guitar Masterclass?
And how are they different?
Guitar Masterclasses are a cross between a performance and a guitar lesson. They happen on stage and in front of an audience. Yes they start with a performance from you of your chosen piece of music! This is then followed by the public lesson on your performance.
But it’s not a usual lesson that takes place with an audience. The masterclass content is geared towards performance and the stage. Making the most what can be learned in this unique lesson experience. So if you want to break through some boundaries with playing in front of others, learn ideas to impress your friends, or aim at performing. These Guitar Masterclasses are invaluable.
Can Anyone Signup?
What standard do I need to be?
To perform you can be any standard on the guitar. All you need is to have your music suitable and to a good level of familiarity. If you are already a student of mine I can check if your music is ready for a masterclass. If not you are welcome to join but do need to audition. So get it touch and we can make it happen.
What About As An Audience Member?
Anyone can come as an audience member. And even if you are not on the stage you can still learn, take notes and add the ideas to your own playing. This makes a good first step to getting on stage if you want to ease into it.
This of course means if you are performing feel free to bring family and friends so support and enjoy.
